Staff Profile


The Venerable Dr Moses Adebolu Adetunmbi is the Director of Missions and Spirituality. He came to the college with many years of parish experience, having served in various parishes and capacities as a priest and administrator. He worked in Ekiti diocese as Bishop’s Chaplain and parish priest before going to serve in Ife diocese first as Archdeacon and lately as Provost of the Cathedral Church of St Philip, Ile-Ife. He joined the college teaching staff in March 2009, teaching Church History and Worship and related courses. He holds the Diploma in Theology of Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan and the Diploma in Religious Studies of the University of Ibadan. He is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife from where he also obtained his doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in 2008 majoring in Ecclesiastical Church History with special bias on Anglicanism. He has a book publication to his credit on “Growth and Expansion of Christian Missions in Ifeland – 1899 – 2009” and is working on some publications. He is well-involved in the activities of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Bible Society of Nigeria(BSN).   He is happily married to Margret Olutayo Adetunmbi and the marriage is blessed with godly children.


VENERABLE ZACCHAEUS ADEKUNLE ADENIJI, PH.D Venerable Dr. Adeniji has served as the Cathedral Chaplain of the Cathedral Church of Saint John, Iloro, Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria. He has equally worked as Parish Priest in some Churches of Ilesa Diocese (Anglican Communion). As a professional teacher, he taught for several years in various secondary schools of Osun State, Nigeria. And presently, as a biblical scholar, he teaches New Testament Courses in the College. Venerable Dr. Adeniji is the Chaplain for both the College and Chapel of the Annunciation (the Chapel which caters for the spiritual life of the College). He serves as Scribe to the Faculty Board. His scholarly interests are in the areas of Biblical Exegesis, Conflict Resolution and the relationship between the Church and the State. His current research is a study of some selected components of the Q-Sayings in the Nigerian context. Venerable Dr. Adeniji, an evangelist and a marriage counselor, is happily married with children.  


Ven Stephen Ayodeji A. Fagbemi, PhD The Venerable Dr Stephen Ayodeji A. Fagbemi is the Dean of the College providing visionary leadership towards achieving a college of international status that provides relevant, contextual and holistic training of clergy, where every soul matters, without compromising the crux of the Christian gospel. Dr Fagbemi, Clerk in Holy Orders, hails from Oba-Ile, Ondo State. He trained for the ordained ministry at Immanuel College of Theology and Christian Education, Ibadan obtaining a Diploma in Religious Studies (1989) and a Diploma in Theology (1990). He gained a Bachelor of Theology (Honours) degree from the University of Nottingham in Second Class Upper Division, and obtained the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in theology, from the University of Kent, Canterbury, specializing in New Testament Interpretation and Applied Theology. He also completed a certificate course in Anglican Spirituality (C.A.S, Canterbury). He has varied parish experience from both the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and the Church of England. He served as a parish priest in the diocese of Canterbury, and later as the Co-ordinator of Chaplaincy Services and Anglican Chaplain at the University of Sunderland and Associate Priest at Sunderland Minster in the diocese of Durham. He is a member of Tyndale Fellowship of Biblical and Theological Research. He enjoys, singing and listening to classical music and traditional church hymns, among other interests. He plays the organ and enjoys swimming and cycling with his children. Among his many writings is Who are the Elect in 1 Peter? A Study in Biblical Exegesis and its Application to the Anglican Church of Nigeria, New York, Peter Lang, 2007. Dr Fagbemi is happily married to his beautiful wife and friend Mrs Ebun Fagbemi and their union is blessed with two children, AyoOluwa and Ayidipo.
